Volunteers help make our mission possible!

Flance has many volunteer opportunities available both in and outside of the classroom. 

Interested in doing a service project, working with the students or helping in the garden? Great! Have a new idea we haven’t thought of? We’re all ears.

Individuals, groups and corporate volunteers are always welcome.

Summer Americorps VISTA Positions:

Flance has multiple upcoming summer 2026 Americorps VISTA positions available for adults (18+) in the areas of direct childcare support, family partnership support, health and nutrition, sustainability and more. Starting dates and application deadlines are as follows:

Start June 1, May 7th recruitment deadline

Start June 15, May 22 recruitment deadline

Start June 29, June 5 recruitment deadline

Please Note: VISTA and other long-term volunteers, including parents of Flance students, must participate in a screening process that includes: fingerprinting, a background check, a TB test, a physical, and an orientation that offers basic training in addition to the completion of paperwork discussing policies and procedures.
