Flance Early Learning Center provides Excellence by Educating and Nurturing young children, Supporting families, and Strengthening community. Our vision is to create a new paradigm in early childhood education that will serve as a model for creating systemic change for children and families.
Our Values
Flance Center is a diverse, intentional early childhood community that nurtures children and adults in a loving culture of Trust, Respect, Accountability, Compassion and Consistency. These are the values that guide us in our work with children and families.
An integral part of our mission and practice is developing partnerships and educational outreach to the larger St. Louis community. We believe that Trust is the foundation of any relationship; that through the establishment of trust, our school community, partners and friends are empowered to do the work of creating systemic change for children and families.
Respect and Accountability are nurtured and encouraged in every member of our Flance team. In order to ensure these values are woven into the fabric of their person-hood, children must experience an environment that is intentionally Compassionate. Finally, we believe that Consistency needs to be among the primary examples we set for children, acting as a compass that directs all interactions as we grow our school community.
We believe that these values together - T.R.A.C.C.- provide the essential ingredients necessary for creating and maintaining an emotionally healthy life, which is established through the alternating experience of struggle and success. This process begins at birth.
