Flance Early Learning Center was recently honored with Focus St. Louis' What's Right with the Region award for our commitment to diversity, access, inclusion, and opportunity for all. Flance was one of 20 organizations and individuals recognized during the event. This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our educators, staff, and partners who work tirelessly to provide the best holistic early learning experience for children and families.

During the past 26 years, FOCUS St. Louis has celebrated the accomplishments of over 500 individuals, initiatives and organizations that have had a positive impact on the St. Louis region. The 26th Annual Awards Ceremony was held on May 11, 2023, at The Sheldon, where Flance was recognized for its efforts in the early childhood space.

IDEA (inclusion, diversity, equity and access) is a founding principle of Flance, in fact we like to say that it is in the organization’s DNA. We believe that every child deserves access to high-quality early childhood education, regardless of their family's income or background. We strive to create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive community that uplifts all families. Receiving this award is a great honor for us, and we are proud to be a part of the legacy of organizations that uplift the St. Louis community. We would like to extend our gratitude to Focus St. Louis for recognizing our efforts and for their commitment to promoting positive change in the region.

Being honored in this way has bolstered our commitment and we will continue the important work of promoting equity and inclusion in early childhood education and the community at large. We believe that by working together, we can create a brighter future for all children.
